SQart desk
SQart is a new furniture system that provides almost limitless
office furnishing solutions. This system enables you to create
a range of combinations that are ideally suited to fit your space
making SQart totally practical. SQart allows the realization of a
wealth of goals and meets the variety of wide ranging requirements
of interior designers, sales people and clients alike.
To clients it offers an opportunity to create a number of comfortable,
practical and efficiency-enhancing workstations. SQart
offers high quality materials, aesthetics and functionality at a
reasonable price.
The flexibility offered by the system allows easy arrangement
of functional spaces and even easier rearrangement of space
whenever required. These are the principal requirements of interior
designers. Architects, on the other hand, are presented with
an opportunity for creative and original work that emphasizes
their individual style and the unique characteristics of each
project.
Sales people are much more focused on the transparency of
usage and numerous practical applications, as well as the use
of a small number of elements.

The main characteristic of the SQart system is the availability of a wide variety of
desktop shapes and sizes, which can be used in plentiful designs and arrangements.
The desktops are made of E1 fine chipboard, 25 mm thick, either veneered or laminated
on both sides. A frame, which is fitted to the desktop, is the basic construction element
of the desks. Specially designed, the construction of the frame allows the use of a
sliding desktop for selected desk shapes (rectangular, sloped, wave or wing desks).
This function is available as an option. The legs, wire trunking, desk extensions and
the third working level panels are fitted directly to the frame, making the assembly
or any required disassembly of a workstation a pleasant and easy task. This method
also eliminates any possible damage to the parts made of chipboard. An element that
all desks with different leg shapes have in common is an ID plate with a replaceable
insert, which in a standard model comes in the colour of the desk legs. The ID plate
may also serve the identification purposes for each individual workstation or the
entire department.
The designer
Andreas Krob was born in 1969 in Northern
Germany. He studied industrial design at the
Muthesius School of Art and Design in Kiel,
Germany. After graduation in 1996, he worked
for the Thonet, Röder Haworth and Provenda
Marketing AG firm. In 2003, with his wife
Uta, he founded the family design office B4K.
The B4K team works for a small number of
clients in the area of interior design and office
technologies, offering the latest design and
architectural solutions. Andreas Krob currently
resides in Switzerland.
Orga storage
Orga Tower serves as a storage unit but also as a leg and a side panel. It is available in three heights 560, 720 and 1170 mm, with fixed depth of 80 mm and the width of 172 mm.
