Conco chair

Designed By Michiel van der Klay in 2005, the Conco is like a boulder in a river that gets its streamlined form from the water constantly flowing over it. The base of this chair, which is available on 4 legs, as a pedesatal or asa wire criss-crossed frame, reinforces the lightness of the design. The knot at the point where the seat meets the back is not only for aesthetic effect but is also a technical detail. It is both a literal knotting point for all the curved lines and holds the fabric together.

Little Conco (2006) clearly relates to Conco. The big difference is that, contrary to what the name suggests, Little Conco stands high on its legs. This makes it a comfortable chair for active sitting, and a perfect couple with its matching table.
