Early bird task seating
Where are the upright
people? The honest ones,
the teamworkers, the
unbending? Walking the
office floors with a smile
in their eyes? As we pass
along the corridors, we
see more and more
stoopers. They go around
with drooping shoulders,
bowed head and sinister
glare. Why? Perhaps
because they’ve been
sitting for too long in the
wrong posture? After all,
the human body is built
in the first place for
movement. The muscles
grow tense, the spine
gets twisted. Not exactly
an uplifting picture on
the X-ray screens of
countless orthopedic
specialists. But now
there’s light at the end of
the tunnel, and our mood
lifts. early bird – the new
freedom in seated work.
Inviting you to lean back.
Supporting, even
encouraging movement.
Lifting up your gaze.
Bringing a smile to your
face. Striking the very
words “round shoulders”
from the dictionary.
Thank you, early bird.

Information:
“Similar” mechanism.
The opening angle of 32° allows an
almost lying posture. The seat can be
inclined forwards 4°. The backrest
pressure can be adjusted individually
for light and heavy users. Exceptional
comfort for anyone who works a lot
sitting down.
Sliding seat. The seat depth can be adjusted
by 60 mm without the angle of
the seat to the backrest changing,
guaranteeing the user constant
ideal hip support.
Castors. The large diameter of the castors at 65 mm is particularly helpful. The larger rolling radius allows the castors to move more smoothly over carpeting, and take small bumps and other obstacles in their stride.
Se do-Lift mechanism.
Extremely durable and height-adjustable
mechanism that is also non-wearing
where there is a frequent change of user.
Even in the lowest position, the seat depth
springing provides a “soft landing”
when you sit down. Compression of the
vertebrae is avoided.
Backrest with integrated lumbar support. The backrest is available in two versions (height 520 or 590 mm). Its integrated lumbar support is individually adjustable for height by 100 mm. For an exceptional feeling of relaxation while working in a lying posture, a headrest with adjustable height and tilt is available with the large backrest (height 150 mm, width 265 mm).
Headrest. Can be swiveled forwards and adjusted for height to individually suit the size of the user.
Morning!
Smart seating with clear, uncomplicated design is a
popular feature in every office. early bird is technically
advanced, durable and outstanding in quality. With its
welcoming appearance early bird is ideal for smiley
people, early risers and other cheerful colleagues.
Using your Early bird
Use the whole seat surface. The anatomically shaped seat should be fully occupied.
Only then is proper Contact with the supporting backrest
assured.
early bird is also available with an adjustable seat tilt
and a sliding seat. These allow the seat to be adjusted
individually to suit any body size.
Adjust the height of the seat precisely
The correct seat height means that the elbow joint
adopts an angle of about 90° when the forearms are
resting horizontally on the desktop. The knee joint
will also adopt an angle of about 90° when the feet
are flat on the floor. If your desktop is too high, and
cannot be lowered to a correct position, you need a
footrest with adjustable height and tilt.
Adjust the backrest. Adjust the height of the lumbar support so that the curvature of the backrest supports the spine in the region of the third and fourth lumbar vertebrae (where the forward curvature is greatest). This stabilises the natural S-shape of the spine in every sitting position.
Dynamic sitting means changing your sitting posture
frequently, or in other words shifting as often as
possible between the front and rear sitting posture.
You should therefore adjust the backrest dynamically.
early bird is fitted with a “Similar” mechanism, which
allows you to adjust the pressure of the backrest individually.
The backrest and the seat therefore automatically
support you in every sitting position.
