The designer
The Juno Collection marks a new era of design and development in executive office furniture. Commissioned British artist Bernard Oglesby explains his approach for the design.
"My Idea was to de-construct the executive workstation, reducing it to its elemental components - the base, the work suface and storage. My intention was to utilise the body of skill at Martina, particulary in the craft of working veneers, to arrive at a refined, imaginative yet ergonomic solution. The resulting product achieves a very modern brief without discarding the best traditional values. I believe Juno to be the contemporary equivalent of the classic desk".
