Sense starts with simple, intuitive design. Because all components lock, click, or snap quickly into place with no tools, it’s easy to repurpose Sense for a different function. This approach has environmental benefits: When your needs evolve, you don’t need to replace an entire piece, extending the length of the product’s life.
Its thin profile means minimal materials are used, reducing the impact of waste on the environment.
Sense is up to 56 percent recyclable at the
end of its useful life.
Sense is comprised of 45-percent recycled
materials. This figure breaks down to
3-percent post-consumer and 42-percent
pre-consumer recycled content.

Designer
"The age of Leonardo da Vinci is gone," notes designer Daniel Korb, "but still I believe a holistic view to the world is needed." Baden, Switzerland, is the vantage point for Korb's perspective. It's where he was born and the place where he and his wife Susan operate Korb + Korb, which they founded in 1989.
Like many leading designers of modern office furniture, Korb started as an architect. Since then, his design expertise has broadened and his inspiration refined. Today, his creativity finds expression in architecture, communication, and design. The intersection of these disciplines results in innovative ideas and, ultimately, smarter end products.
Korb + Korb is synonymous with simple and intuitive design. It's this thinking that attracted the attention of Herman Miller and led to the desking system aptly named Sense.
