Trim and Portion

Trim: Utilising naughtone’s quality approach to upholstery trim has been created with a deep understanding of upholstery detailing, giving the product character, comfort and a competitive price point. Trim is available as an armchair, two seat and 3 seat sofa, also with the extra option of a steel sled leg or aluminium straight leg.

Portion: A flowing seat and back form provide the simple extrusion to which the portion sofa system is based. Supported with a flat stainless steel sled frame, portion is defined by it’s distinctive profile; this is then complimented by the luxurious and comfortable buttoned seat. The four sizes allow various configurations to be created, which can be finished with the generous arm unit or left open to expose the light form. Portion’s extruded concept allows the system to continue on and on, or perform as a generous arm chair.

Trim sofa: Trim is proudly manufactured to the highest standards in our British factory. The main body of the seating is constructed with FSC certified hardwood and CMHR foams. The two base options are made from epc coated mild steel and hand polished stainless steel.

In 2005 naughtone was established as a platform to design, manufacture and supply quality British products to national and international markets. Founders, Mark Hammond and Kieron Bakewell had previous history working in this sector and market. They had their own ideas about how design led products should be presented and supplied.

We believe that naughtone can be a positive contributor to defining a British style evolved from products being designed and produced in the UK. There is a growing appreciation for Made in Britain products among domestic, commercial and retail consumers; we feel that in current economic climates, only now the general public are associating where a product comes from.
