Most use electric motors with anti-collision sensors, and eModel 2 is also available with a crank handle. Prices shown are starting prices for the smallest desk with standard options.

Height-Adjustable Bench Desks for Teams
On a height-adjustable bench, each person has their own motor and controls, so two people sitting opposite each other can work at different heights. Alto 1 benches are joined by a foot rail and can be split back into two single desks if the office changes. eModel 2 benches take a shared or individual divider. Bench prices start at £798 for Alto 1, £1,161 for Alto 2 and £1,624 for Nuvola.
Electric, Crank or Battery
- Electric: a motor in the frame raises the desk at the press of a button. Dual-motor frames like Alto 2 are faster and steadier than single-motor frames, and some control panels store sitting and standing heights.
- Crank: a handle winds the desk up and down. It's slower, but it needs no power and costs less.
- Battery: Se:lab Tableboard runs on a rechargeable battery, which gives about 50 adjustments per charge. It can be used anywhere in the office without a floor socket.
What Sets the Price
The prices shown are for the smallest desk with standard options. The final price depends on desk size, single or dual motors, single desk or bench, the desktop finish, and extras such as screens, cable trays, monitor arms and power modules. Planning and Delivery
We can plan your layout in 3D from your office measurements, and send samples of desktop finishes. Alto desks held in stock can be delivered within 7 working days to mainland England. Play & Work and eModel 2 are made to order, typically in 5 to 6 weeks, with the lead time confirmed when you order.

What is the difference between a standing desk and a sit-stand desk?
A standing desk is usually fixed at standing height. A sit-stand desk, or height-adjustable desk, moves up and down, so you can sit or stand whenever you choose.
What height range do I need?
Taller people need a higher top setting, and shorter people a lower bottom setting. Our ranges cover 580 to 1345mm between them. Alto 2 goes lowest, at 580mm, and Se:lab Tableboard goes highest, at 1345mm.
Can height-adjustable desks be set up as a bench?
Yes. Alto, Play & Work, Nuvola and eModel 2 all come as bench desks, with separate controls for each person.
Should I choose a single or dual motor desk?
A single motor suits most people and keeps the price down. Dual motors lift faster, carry more weight and stay steadier at full height.
How quickly can you deliver?
Alto desks in stock can be delivered to mainland England within 7 working days, and Nuvola desks typically within 2 to 4 weeks. Other ranges are made to order, usually in 5 to 6 weeks.
