Kanu is a series of distinctive, moulded plywood lounge armchairs. Designed for use in lounges, offices, and public spaces, it offers contemporary design with versatile functionality, available on either a sleek tubular metal frame or an elegant black-stained beech frame.

At first glance, it's obvious that the Kanu Chair has a distinctive shape. The unique form of the seat and back is made from a single plywood moulding, creating cohesion between the two elements. The designer's inspiration for the name came directly from its canoe-like form.

Kanu Seat Options

In addition to the different frame choices, the Kanu offers a choice of two unique backrests: a smooth, fully elliptical design, and an alternative featuring a beautifully undercut arch. This latter option ingeniously serves as a built-in handle, making it exceptionally easy to relocate the chair. Furthermore, to provide ultimate comfort and a customisable aesthetic, Kanu can be specified with an upholstered seat pad and backrest.
