Designers Antonio Scaffidi & the late Mads K. Johansen not only attached great importance to resource-saving materials, they also wanted to create a graceful design complemented & underlined by soft, organic shapes. The outcome: either a beech or oak stackable frame is combined with a curvaceous, light seat shell made of anthracite-grey polyester felt into a harmonious unity, reflecting the designers Scandinavian roots. The seat shell snugly moulds to the body & an optional upholstered seat pad is available, adding to the comfort of this armchair that weighs a mere 4.5kg; Njord is an extremely stable & yet flexible stacking chair.
