These simple yet flexible two-tier seating modules can be arranged in countless ways to fit your needs. Every module comes with convenient under-seat storage and comfortable upholstered seats. You can also customise your setup with optional features like:

Platforms FAQ

There are two ranges within Platforms:

Platforms (tiered auditorium seating) is available in:

  • 1350mm wide straight module
  • 1540mm wide straight module
  • 1155mm corner module

All modules are 834mm high, with a two-tier seat height of 434mm/834mm.

Platforms Additions (freestanding modular blocks) is available in:

  • Widths: 770mm and 1155mm
  • Depths: 385mm (standard modules) and 770mm (square modules)
  • Heights: 455mm (low), 675mm (mid), 845mm (high) and 1068mm (tall)

giving 10 module variants in total that can be mixed and matched.

Yes — both ranges are fully modular. Platforms modules combine into straight runs, L-shapes, U-shapes, or asymmetric layouts for tiered seating, while Platforms Additions modules can be freely combined to build lounge, socialise, co-work, or presentation-style layouts for open-plan spaces.
Standard modules include under-seat storage and upholstered seat pads. Optional extras include:
  • Integrated power for device charging
  • Lockable castors for easy mobility
  • Protective floor coverings
No — modules are also available without under-seat storage if you prefer an open base.

Seat pads are available in a range of fabrics and vinyls to complement your scheme, and a neutral grey Interface carpet floor covering is also available to protect the surrounding floor. As poplar ply is a natural material, some variation in colour and grain is normal between batches.

Yes. Connection manages the environmental impact of Platforms across its full lifecycle, backed by certification to ISO 14001, FSC®, PEFC and FISP. The range is made predominantly from wood, is 100% recyclable, and is manufactured VOC-free, with all materials checked against EU and US chemical "red lists." Any residual manufacturing emissions are offset via Gold Standard carbon credits, and the range meets 10 WELL Building Standard product features.
Platforms comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Platforms modules are supplied part-assembled, so on-site assembly is completely tool-free and straightforward for your team to complete.
Yes — if you'd rather not assemble it yourselves, we offer a fully managed on-site installation service, taking care of delivery and setup for you.
Yes — we offer a 3D design service, so we can work with you to plan and visualise your Platforms layout before you commit, making sure it fits your space and works for how it'll be used.
